This Work visa is for people who have a skill that’s needed by a New Zealand employer.

If an accredited employer offers you full-time work in skilled employment at the required salary level, you’ll be able to get a visa to work here for up to 3 years.

The company must be accredited with Immigration New Zealand to be able to offer you this visa. The company must also complete a job check to show that they cannot recruit a New Zealander to complete the role.   Some types of jobs are exempt from labor market testing.

You can include your spouse and children under your visa, and they will be processed together as a group application.

This Visa does not lead to residence, but you may apply for residence if you qualify under the Skilled migration pathways.
